Evaluation of Field Work

Once the field work is complete and the laboratory has prepared its analytical report the data is reviewed.  Quality control sample results are reviewed to determine the quality and variability of the data collected.  Environmental samples concentrations are reviewed, tabulated, and plotted on a site map.  If the goal of the project was to delineate the extent of contamination and this was not accomplished due to the extent of contamination, the client will likely be contacted and asked if they want to proceed with additional field work prior to developing the full report.  The benefit of doing more field work is the cost and time savings of incorporating the results of multiple investigations into one report instead of multiple reports.
